  • Mexican troops begin to move into Texas
    The leader of the garrison was Col. Juan Bradburn
    Tensions increased-The tax collector demanded all customs duties be paid at the mouth of the Brazos river
    Two men were arrested for protesting against Bradburns' policies-William B Travis and Patrick Jack
